27 lutego 2015 odbyła się pierwsza gala American Poker Awards, na której zostały przyznane nagrody dla graczy oraz osób związanych z pokerem i mających wkład w jego rozwój. Nagrody przyznawane są przez Global Poker Index, którego właścicielem jest Alex Dreyfus.
